Whole Formulas Colloidal Silver contains 15ppm (parts per million) of pure silver, suspended in deionized water. Each microscopic particle of silver has a positive electric charge that holds it in suspension. Nanogram-sized particles for easy absorption and maximum effect.
The use of silver in medicine dates back to ancient Greece, where Hippocrates used it to care for wounds. A French surgeon named Dr. Carl Credé (1819-1892) found positive benefits from using silver nitrate in eye infections, and Dr. William Halsted (1852–1922), the first Chief Surgeon of John Hopkins Medical School, used silver foil to discourage wound infection.
