Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

The month of October has become pumpkin-obsessed, and Healthy Goods is jumping on that bandwagon. The flavor of pumpkin pairs beautifully with all the tasty chai flavors of nutmeg, cardamom, and cinnamon. Along with the flavor perks, this smoothie is also packed with the potent antioxidant, beta-carotene, and cinnamon is also studied for its numerous health benefits, including support of healthy blood glucose levels.
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened almond, rice or coconut milk
1 scoop Vanilla Chai Vega One All-In-One Nutritional Shake
1/2 frozen banana (freeze in small chunks)
4 generous tablespoons of frozen, unsweetened, plain, organic pumpkin puree (freeze in mounds on wax paper ahead of time, then place in bags and store in the freezer)
1/8 to 1/4 tsp. cinnamon to taste
Preparation:
1. Blend together your choice of milk, Vega shake powder, and cinnamin until smooth.
2. Add frozen banana and pumpkin. Blend until smooth.
